BMW x5 for vehicle diagnostics due to instrument cluster problems for zero rpm temp gauge and 4x4 transfer problems amongst many others, After serial diagnostic check was showing DTC'S recorded in virtually every module across the car and testing scoping the K - line data-bus when communicating to the car with everyday diagnostic equipment we could see there was some issues with earthing on some modules present on the network.

After further investigation we found a earthing point on the vehicle that had seen better day's
This fault corrected most of the DTC'S present on the data-bus and corrected the K - line transmission but with the other Can-Bus comunication and Temperature problems
